Beyond 2.0 is a Canadian AI adoption company based in Ottawa. We help mid-sized and enterprise organizations turn AI investment into everyday capability through executive support, culture change, workflow redesign, and workforce enablement.
We are building a bench of independent contractors for upcoming work. These are expressions of interest, not permanent employment roles. Engagements are scoped when client work is available, with no guaranteed hours.

Business Development Manager
Help turn qualified opportunities into relationships, registrations, proposals, and bids. We are looking for experience in Canadian government procurement, RFPs, grants, business development, or technology services.
What you’d do
- Chase leads — turn warm referrals and inbound interest into booked conversations and qualified opportunities.
- Get on RFPs & procurement vehicles — manage registrations and pre-qualifications (e.g., MERX, CanadaBuys, Supply Ontario, vendor marketplaces) and prepare bid submissions.
- Track funding vehicles and grants — federal and provincial programs and contributions relevant to a Canadian AI company (e.g., IRAP, FedDev, ISED programs).
- Qualify and track — keep a clean pipeline, score opportunities, and draft proposals, capability statements, and follow-ups.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years business development or sales in professional services or technology.
- Working knowledge of Canadian government procurement (RFPs, ITQs, vendor registrations) and/or the grants and contributions landscape.
- Comfortable using AI tools in your own workflow; organized, self-directed, and remote-friendly.
- Nice to have: bilingual (English/French), government or association relationships, proposal writing.
Engagement: independent contractor · part-time (~10–20 hrs/wk) · remote within Canada · rolling review.
AI Adoption Consultant
Help organizations put AI into everyday work. Relevant experience includes change leadership, workforce enablement, workshop facilitation, Microsoft 365 and Copilot adoption, and large-organization transformation.
What you’d do
- Walk teams through change management of AI in the workplace — assessments, adoption roadmaps, and practical enablement sessions.
- Copilot / Microsoft 365 enablement — help organizations deploy and embed Copilot into real workflows, measure adoption, and sustain the change.
- Facilitate — workshops and training for staff and leadership, in the National Capital Region or remote across Canada.
- Deliver — practical, measurable adoption engagements tied to the client’s actual work.
What we’re looking for
- Change management experience in technology adoption (Prosci/ADKAR or equivalent, or deep hands-on experience).
- Microsoft ecosystem depth — M365, Copilot, Teams, SharePoint; experience enabling enterprise users.
- Facilitation and training — you can run a room (or a Teams call) and make it stick.
- Nice to have: bilingual, government or large-organization adoption experience, learning/instructional design.
